Buckle up and put your recording socks on your door handles because the Tyranny of Thumbs is back with another episode of our Dystopia block. This time with Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You (specifically that one, not the "Ignorance is Strength" one... Trust us. We almost made that mistake).
Yo, do you think it's fucked up that someone has unrestricted access to your IMs, emails, cell phones, computers and bank accounts? We do too... if you pay attention though, you will notice that Josef just casually slides into his SO's DMs like it's nothing. Is that chill? Are we just going to ignore that? Is that common practice these days?
Come along with us as we agonize over who to convict and who to exonerate in this Document Thriller. We also learned some interesting life hacks for how to keep roommates out when you are recording.

Spooky Games Month: Detention

This week on The Tyranny of Thumbs we've closed our eyes as we steadily march deeper into our Spooky Games Month. This time with Detention. I know there were some of us left scratching their head when this game made it through the grueling deliberations episode, especially in the face of games like Inside, We Know the Devil and of course, Year Walk. But, without a doubt, this game surpassed all of our expectations and proved it had every right to make the list. What a pleasant surprise for all of us... all of us except one. Poor James, still sleeping with an industrial-grade floodlight as a nightlight from last week's Layers of Fear episode, dug deep once again and could only muster the strength to say one thing "When will Spooky Games Month be over?" Sorry buddy, as you can see below we have a little bit left to go.

This week on The Tyranny of Thumbs (you have no idea how hard it is for me to type Tyranny correctly... yikes) we slowly and steadily march further into our Spooky Games Month. This time with Layers of Fear. For those curious, this is one of those actually scary games. So... it isn't for the faint of heart. Unless you are Gabe. Even though he wasn't bragging, he wasn't scared. I was. James bought 10 nightlights on amazon SAME DAY delivery because of this game so proceed with caution.

Minisode: The Spooky Games Month Deliberation Special

What you have in your hands is a very special extremely experimental one-off minisode.
The premise is simple:
The five of us (and Linnea) enter a cold dark room with 30+ spooky/horror/Halloween themed games and no one is allowed to leave until we have 5 weeks of spooky games chosen.
